Pete Fiumefreddo became a sponsor of Sigma Phi Theta in 2009. He is a 1992 graduate, and spent his college years playing tennis for Doane. Pete took over the Tiger tennis program in 2000, coaching both the men and women's teams at the time. In 2007 he passed off the women’s coaching duties. Now he is the men’s head coach, and he also is the photographer for all the Doane athletic events.
